Diplomacy continues
I sometimes feel like going insecure, thinking - are my friends for real? Or are they fake as anything, and are biting my back hard. But to be pragmatic (as I believe I am), no one but a loser'd think this way. And I'm not one for sure...
So I'm happy seeing my friends(not planning any "..."s here) being nice to me, responding to what I say, going around with me, helping me in tackling doubts etc. Well I can never define any word by myself especially when it demands my analysis. So I can't know my exact definition of friendship. So I'm supposed to be happy with the friends I have, the way I understand them as. They may be honest or may be diplomatic towards me, I can never know. But I'll choose the better of the two apples. I'll not care if they are pretending to be nice. I'll consider their being nice as their being nice. I'll accept their diplomacy as truth. And so am I practicing.
I'm diplomatic. I'm happy. How happy are you?

Diplomacy is the best policy!
Stab me if I mean nonsense.
You might often hang around with ur friends. And at times u do get involved in some sort of discussion which demands ur opinion, knowledge, intellect or whateva u got in u. right? And keeping in mind that u r not submissive, u will ne'er give in. u'll make ur point clear, and most probably 'circularly' accepted. But hey, thats neva tht done always. And u know that. Ur friends are equally indomitable as u. They too have their own ideas. C'mon after all each of them fall under the 'Friends' category, and u rate them ur near ones.
So it often happens, ideas clash, debates break up, no one ready to loose. As indispensable one's ego preservation should be, u'll not stand others-no matter who he/she is-to vindicate and make u feel like loosing ur grip. And often in this process, relations get strained. And some tender slender ones like the spouse bond, and most concerned here : friendship, fall apart...never to be the same again. Now c'mon who r u fooling? Accept it, this is true. It happens. Even if we patch up, the fun bonding is in the vicinity...
And of course, not to sound discouraging or pessimistic, there is certainly a good solution to all these - 'TIME'.
"Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows, only time?
And who can say if your love grows,
As your hearth chose, only time?..." (Only Time, Enya)
...Hold it! hold it! I didn't mean to write anything about time. Ok 'Time is a great healer'. Thats true and justified. but its another thing I haven't mentioned yet...about the best policy, pratically.
Everybody (often) loves to be a good person; so that they achieve more and more people loving and caring for them. Thats a naive and sweet thought. But what if u are not social enough. What if ur personality just is not pleasing enough...by which I mean the 'Be yourself' thing, which may not be acceptable.
Whats actually important that u have the human wealth in abundance...in other words, a lot many well-wishers, do-gooders, supporters and friends for you. Life is then better and easier, isn't it?
So do u think being honest always pay good outcome? Not always, in fact rarely. Having said, I'm/someone's not sure if they are naturally affable. So be diplomatic. Its really not necessary that u speak ur heart out everytime, not giving a damn to what the listener thinks about it. Sometimes its much much better to pretend, pretend nice. Maintaining diplomacy helps, don't u agree? You remain a half closed book(if not full), and that keeps u safe in life. by that I mean, u got friends u are just satisfied having u around, not because they know u front to back, but because they just love ur attitude, ur thoughts(that're actually semi-transparent- good for them, good for you!) and above all You- the person. And there's nothing bad in maintaining that dude.
Sometimes its better this way. So is the new policy "Diplomacy is the best policy!". So guys, be a diplomat, and befriend the world.

few more "poems" from my store...
This is another of my creations. This also speaks about me...and us as well. Slap me if you disagree...So, here it goes :
For The Special Suspected...
A narrow aloof lane.
I'm walking amidst silence
I seem to tip toe in his senses
The one who seems to brisk up
Right ahead of me.
He turned around pretending not
Although I catch him in the act
I was a stranger
I ne'er saw him before whatsoever.
So his crystalline mind's got a suspicion
About how harmful or tricky I am
A high tower of anxiety soars up his spine
Lurks up a familiar fear
Do you know what and why is he doing so?
Answer, he's expecting something unexpected
I'm being suspected...
A crowded route city bus.
A lady jeweled standing beside me
The lovely purse she carries…
Is a world of property and ownership
She was a rich lady
At least bravura has she managed
In the vibrating turbulent mob
Her purse must be a heartthrob
Yes, she had her nose on it
Too much to take any chance for green eyes
Standing not to accept any stare
Unfortunate me, fell into the trap!
She now attains finesse to her job
And of holding her purse tighter
Pushing her glare bang on me
Protecting the marvel of a purse brilliantly
Do you know what and why was she doing so?
No matter what the folk gain
I'm being suspected, again.
The picture of an ideal classroom
With the ideally noisy students
Having the time of their lives probably
Flying around like clueless butterflies
Comes the critically acrimonious teacher
With glasses and scorns
Blowing earfuls to the little menaces
In the ugliest way possible
Oh dear, the broken window pane
Just behind where I was seated
Stormed upon the storm of a teacher
Now stands in front of me roaring
All Jacks and Jills sitting quite now
The only sound was the one you guessed
That was like a terrible back pain
I'm being suspected, yet again.
Here I sit with a cup of coffee
With cookies to add as afters
Facing a lush green meadow
With the aesthetic orchard alongst
Beautiful thoughts waving through
There I let out a smile of mine
The world is so funny
So are the good old people
They are gentle, they are bestial
They are homes yet they are lethal
But one thing that is justified. Period.
Everyone suspects, for every reason
And I always went through suspicion
How do I think of being overprotected?
I'm being suspected.

THE WAR WIDOW
This's one my poems or rather say imaginations, I used to write at my leisure a few years back. Well, rather term it a short story. Feel the pain of some 'fortunate' yet unfortunate if you may...
She was waiting for him
For hours in the throng
He was busy consigning
Chats and hats for long
Her mind her was in a storm
Way down for some melancholy song
Minute by minute was she counting
Her patience with the gong
Like her slender hair knitting
Thoughts were knitted along
Now that she felt a gust of wind
Chilling her tears along
She did to look towards the vicinity
Felt life on and on headstrong
Up there in the border
He was singing a soldier's song
Where blood was ionic, and was
T he ammunition strong
Loving a mass of earth was the motto
Where nights were spent in pong
Stoned the heart and ears
The whirr was a deafening song
Fight the wroth being raged
Feet off ground considered wrong
Now getting a break from the war
He used to call her in along
She rushes to the aging phone
In excitement forgetting to part the comb
Her slender hair sneaking with
The life comes out young
That warm voice that fills
Up her heart, can hear the bong
She jumps into the fool's paradise
Joy bells ring ding-dong
And he puts an otiose to add up
And a smile gets birth after this long
That those joss sticks and flowers
Ran for the sweetness among
Desperation was on either side
But flamboyance was it "nothings wrong".
And then the network ran out...
Whence her world crumbled deep and long
Months rolled on with the war
This brave soldier fights winsome
Sacrifices his life for the country
Becomes a rage in the kingdom
His army has been victorious
The war was won.
Celebrations everywhere
To Success, so what if carcass a ton
But where is her heart and soul gone?
Wasn't that heaven bound
How do she pretend to smile
And prove herself patriotic strong
When her life's shattered to bits
All those memories will last long
But She had to stop her tears
And rejoice..."We have won!"
