This's one my poems or rather say imaginations, I used to write at my leisure a few years back. Well, rather term it a short story. Feel the pain of some 'fortunate' yet unfortunate if you may...
She was waiting for him
For hours in the throng
He was busy consigning
Chats and hats for long
Her mind her was in a storm
Way down for some melancholy song
Minute by minute was she counting
Her patience with the gong
Like her slender hair knitting
Thoughts were knitted along
Now that she felt a gust of wind
Chilling her tears along
She did to look towards the vicinity
Felt life on and on headstrong
Up there in the border
He was singing a soldier's song
Where blood was ionic, and was
T he ammunition strong
Loving a mass of earth was the motto
Where nights were spent in pong
Stoned the heart and ears
The whirr was a deafening song
Fight the wroth being raged
Feet off ground considered wrong
Now getting a break from the war
He used to call her in along
She rushes to the aging phone
In excitement forgetting to part the comb
Her slender hair sneaking with
The life comes out young
That warm voice that fills
Up her heart, can hear the bong
She jumps into the fool's paradise
Joy bells ring ding-dong
And he puts an otiose to add up
And a smile gets birth after this long
That those joss sticks and flowers
Ran for the sweetness among
Desperation was on either side
But flamboyance was it "nothings wrong".
And then the network ran out...
Whence her world crumbled deep and long
Months rolled on with the war
This brave soldier fights winsome
Sacrifices his life for the country
Becomes a rage in the kingdom
His army has been victorious
The war was won.
Celebrations everywhere
To Success, so what if carcass a ton
But where is her heart and soul gone?
Wasn't that heaven bound
How do she pretend to smile
And prove herself patriotic strong
When her life's shattered to bits
All those memories will last long
But She had to stop her tears
And rejoice..."We have won!"
